CHECK-IN TIME POLICY:

Our opening hours are between 10:00 and 18:00(Hours WAT).

Monday through Saturday

Closed on Sunday

RESERVATION POLICY:

Reservations at Gaia are required and should be made in advance.

Though, we attract/accept “walk-in” customers but not at the expense of reservations made at a prior time.

What this means is, that we prioritize reservations made prior to walk-in and would attend to such in the same manner.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Your spa therapy sessions are important to us as a brand and we take extra effort to ensure that you have a splendid time at our facility with the best-skilled professionals we have, however, we do understand that there could be an 11th-hour change in your plans that could impact your schedule and we kindly ask for you to respect our scheduling process.

Please notify us at least 48 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule your bookings because a cancellation could leave an empty block in our schedule since we book on an hourly basis.

Cancellation of appointments with less than 48 hours of notice is subject to a cancellation fee amounting to the cost of the scheduled service with applicable tax charges.

We reserve the right to charge in full when you fail to give notice of the cancellation of your appointment 48 hours before your scheduled appointment time.

When you schedule your appointment with us online you agree to these policies. All bookings carried out online require a credit/debit card to guarantee the booking.

PARKING SPACE POLICY

At Gaia, we provide a parking lot for our guests albeit, we only provide one parking space per guest within our facility.

Parking is subject to the availability of space.

We do not provide overnight parking spaces. This is to say, at the close of our business day, every guest is expected to move their vehicle out of the facility.

We do not allow oversized recreational vehicles within our premises.

Gaia would not be responsible for loss of or damage to your vehicle and/or its contents.

PETS POLICY:

Gaia has a strict NO-PET policy and we DO NOT HAVE a grooming experience whatsoever for pets.

Pets are NOT allowed on any property owned and operated by Gaia.

Emotional support and comfort animals are also not permitted.

Guests who fail to adhere to this policy are subject to a fine of N150,000 and are also liable to repay any damage caused by the pet and possible eviction.

COVID-19 POLICY

The Federal Government of Nigeria through the National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has removed the mandatory masking requirement for most settings and also relaxed some of the restrictions that were set in place prior to this date.

As a company, we request that our guests and team members remain kind, considerate and courteous towards those who choose to wear a mask or not wear a mask within our facility.

Please read below how our Covid-19 procedures may affect your visit:

  • Both the staff and the client are expected to wear a mask during treatment in the spa.
  • Hand hygiene is required upon entering the spa.
  • A prescreen temperature check would be conducted upon entering our facility.
  • If you are sick and are not able to meet up your appointments, please call us to reschedule FREE OF CHARGE. The permission to call expires an hour before the appointment.
  • This COVID-19 Policy is subject to review.

SMOKING POLICY

Gaia is committed to providing her esteemed customers and all her guest's wellness. One of the ways we can ensure to do this is to provide a smoke-free environment.

We would penalize defaulters the sum of N150,000 cleaning fee for those who choose not to follow the smoking policy. This policy also applies to electronic smoking devices such as e-cigarettes.

Gaia reserves the right to charge any defaulting guest who violates the smoking policy the premium rate for every day the room is deemed not to be in use due to the effect of the smoke odour in the room.

TAXES AND GRATUITY

Our service and treatment pricing do not include applicable VAT pricing.

Tips are not required but appreciated.

MINIMUM AGE POLICY

We expect that our guests would meet the minimum requirement of 18 years to enjoy our spa services at Gaia. However, teens accompanied by a supervising parent/guardian won’t be exempted from our services.

Written permission would be required from the parent or guardian for a massage therapy session for teens 13-17 years and we expect that the parent or guardian MUST REMAIN in the room during the massage service.

CHANGE IN PRICES

Prices of our services are subject to change without notice. However, we will do our best to keep our clients up-to-date on any changes that may occur but we encourage all clients to inquire about pricing before booking their appointment.

HOME SERVICE POLICY

Gaia provides home services upon request because we understand that our customers and guests may lack the time to walk in or meet their scheduled reservations, due to pressing activities on their itinerary.

Home service pricing is usually 1.5 times the regular pricing.

We expect our massage therapist to be given immediate attention upon arrival and leave according to the prescribed booking request.

For extended hours spent by our massage therapist in your home or office, we would charge an additional rate.

Kindly note that due to the logistics inconvenience of this kind of service, we may not be able to provide all the facilities at your beck and call.

PREARRANGED TRANSPORTATION

We offer a multitude of extra services such as prearranged transportation options and encourage our guests to take advantage of these alternatives, not only to maximize the relaxing benefits of your stay with us but also to ensure safe arrival in inclement season.

Our prearranged transportation comes at a fee depending on the distance our vehicle may need to travel.

MEDICAL CONCERNS

We consider it your responsibility to discuss your medical conditions with us.

We may decline to perform some spa procedures on people with some medical conditions such as cancer, hypertension, ulcer, malaria and heart disease or those who have performed a medical surgery within the last three (3) months.

You may wish to also discuss certain reactions you may have experienced with the use of certain products, ingredients or materials in the past. This will guide our spa therapists in the choice of products they would apply on you.

Our spa therapist may also advice you to remove your contact lens if you wore any, to avoid adverse effects.

SPA ETIQUETTE

  1. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time. In the event you arrive late for your spa treatment, our spa professional would make every effort to accommodate you within the remaining time. However, if you need to retain your appointment, you would pay an extra fee to compensate for the time lost.
  2. A health history form would be given to you upon arrival. Kindly complete it and discuss it with our massage therapists.
  3. Upon arrival, you are expected to turn your cell phones to silent mode. Cell phones are not allowed in the spa rooms. You are expected to keep your cell phones in the locker.
  4. Avoid taking heavy meals before treatments
  5. Avoid taking alcohol before treatments.
  6. Avoid going in Athlete’s foot or Verrucas: If you have a fungal infection or virus such as warts or verrucas please do be considerate and avoid using a spa until this has been cured and fixed. They are super contagious and it’s not fair on others to put them at risk.
